The maintenance of piston water-cooled air compressors mainly includes the following aspects:
Daily maintenance:
Lubrication system inspection: Regularly check the lubricating oil level and oil quality to ensure that the oil level is not lower than the lower limit and the oil quality is not turbid and emulsified. Use ISO VG100 grade compressor oil and replace the contaminated lubricating oil in time.
Surface cleaning: Wipe the casing with a dry cloth and use compressed air to blow back the cooler fins to ensure that the heat dissipation efficiency is not less than 85% of the design value.
Mechanical inspection: Use a torque wrench to check the cylinder head bolts, connecting rod bolts and other fasteners to ensure that there is no looseness.
Operation monitoring: Use an infrared thermometer to detect the temperature of each cylinder (usually ≤120℃), observe the pressure gauge fluctuation range (rated pressure ±10%), and abnormal metal knocking sound indicates that the connecting rod bearing is worn or the piston pin gap is too large.
Drainage operation: After shutdown, open the drain valve at the bottom of the gas tank to drain the condensed water to prevent liquid water from flowing back and causing cylinder liquid hammer.
Periodic maintenance:
Every 800 hours: Clean the gas valve, remove carbon deposits on the valve seat and valve cover, clean the lubricating oil filter and filter screen, and conduct a comprehensive inspection of the motion mechanism.
Every 1200 hours: Clean the filter, especially in dusty environments, the cleaning frequency should be increased to reduce cylinder wear.
Every 2000 hours: Replace the engine oil and filter impurities such as metal chips and dust. If the engine oil is seriously contaminated, replace it with new oil and check and adjust the bearing clearance.
Maintenance in special environments:
Winter maintenance: When the indoor temperature is below 5℃, the cooling water inside the equipment needs to be drained after shutdown to prevent ice from damaging the equipment.
Other maintenance measures:
Cleaning and maintenance: Before starting the machine every day, all parts of the piston machine should be cleaned, especially the oil circuit and lubrication points, to ensure the best performance of the equipment.
Adjust the pressure: Adjust the working pressure according to specific production requirements, check the accuracy of the pressure gauge regularly and adjust it.
Sealing maintenance: Check the wear and cracks of the relevant sealing parts, repair and replace them in time, and keep the seals lubricated.
Electrical system inspection: Regularly check the safety and stability of the electrical system, including the inspection and maintenance of the distribution lines and contacts.
