1. Labor Protection Equipment
Please wear labor protection equipment during equipment inspection, operation, inspection, repair, and maintenance.
2. Fire and Explosion Prevention
1. If lubricating oil or other flammable materials are spilled, clean them up immediately.
2. Avoid sparks, flames, or other flammable materials. Do not smoke in the vicinity when inspecting or adding lubricating oil. Maintenance must be performed only after the compressor has been shut down and fully cooled.
3. Avoid allowing lubricating oil to accumulate on the sound insulation material, or on the upper and lower surfaces of the compressor, or on the inner surface of the enclosure. Generally, oil can be removed with a detergent or steam. If necessary, replace the sound insulation material and clean all surfaces. If the protective layer of the sound insulation material is damaged, replace it to prevent oil accumulation. Be careful not to use flammable cleaning agents.
4. Disconnect all power sources when performing maintenance or cleaning inside the unit.
5. Ensure that the electrical circuits (including terminals and contactors) are functioning properly. If the wires are damaged, scratched, have reduced insulation, are old, discolored, or corroded, they should be replaced. Keep the wires and contactors clean.
6. Keep grounded or conductive objects (such as tools) away from exposed electrical parts (such as terminal blocks) to prevent sparks.
7. If welding is required during maintenance, remove flammable items such as sound insulation or those easily damaged by high temperatures.
8. When maintaining or operating the compressor, always have sufficient fire extinguishers available.
9. Remove flammable materials such as oily rags and waste paper from the area around the compressor.
10. Do not operate the compressor if the cooling system or oil circuit is not functioning properly (such as poor cooling water, air, or oil flow).
III. Moving Parts
1. Keep hands, arms, other body parts, and clothing away from moving parts such as couplings and fans.
2. Do not operate the compressor when the fan, coupling, or other parts are protected. 3. When working, especially around hot surfaces or moving parts, wear tight-fitting clothing and cover long hair.
4. Keep the unit doors closed unless performing maintenance.
5. Before starting the unit, ensure no one is inside.
6. When performing maintenance and adjustments, disconnect all power supplies and ensure all circuits are de-energized to prevent accidental starts. This is especially important when away from the control panel.
7. Clean hands, feet, control components, and road surfaces from oil and water stains to prevent slipping.
IV. Hot Surfaces, Edges, and Sharp Angles
1. Avoid contact with hot oil, coolant, hot surfaces, or sharp edges.
2. Keep any part of your body away from the exhaust port.
V. Toxic and Irritant Substances
1. Do not use exhaust gas for breathing unless otherwise specified by law. 2. Start the compressor only in the open air or in a well-ventilated area.
3. Toxic or corrosive gases should not be present around the compressor. 4. The lubricant used is specific to this industry. Avoid skin contact or ingestion. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. In case of skin contact, rinse with soap and water.
VI. Electric Shock Prevention
1. Compressor installation and maintenance must comply with national and local laws, standards, and regulations (including the National Electrical Code and other safety grounding regulations). This work should be performed by qualified personnel.
2. Keep your body, hand tools, and other conductive objects away from exposed circuit terminals. When repairing or adjusting these terminals, stand on an insulated surface, keep your feet dry, and avoid touching other parts of the compressor. Use only one hand to operate. Even if you receive an electric shock, the current will not pass through your heart.
3. Repairs should be performed in a clean, dry, and well-lit area.
4. Do not leave the machine until the electrical box is fully connected. If necessary, mark the area to prevent accidental starting.
5. Disconnect the power supply and mark the power supply before repairing or adjusting rotating parts or handling ungrounded conductors. VII. Other Precautions
1. If you need to enter the compressor housing to adjust the compressor, you must inform other personnel and mark the door outside to prevent others from closing it.
2. Before closing the door, ensure that no one is inside the unit.
