1. Application Fields

This 15kW bipolar permanent magnet variable frequency screw air compressor is engineered to deliver reliable, energy-efficient compressed air for diverse industrial applications. Its compact design and stable performance make it ideal for both small-scale workshops and medium-sized production facilities requiring continuous air supply.

It is widely used in the following industries:

Machinery manufacturing & metalworking: Powering pneumatic tools, lathes, milling machines, and assembly lines for metal processing and fabrication.

Automotive repair & maintenance: Supporting spray painting, tire inflation, pneumatic wrenches, and other workshop operations.

Textile & garment production: Supplying air for weaving looms, sewing machines, and fabric processing equipment.

Food & beverage processing: Providing clean compressed air for packaging, bottling, and conveying systems (with appropriate filtration upgrades).

Packaging & printing: Driving pneumatic presses, sealing machines, and printing equipment for consistent production.

Construction & light engineering: Used for pneumatic nail guns, sandblasting, and small-scale construction tools.

General factory automation: Supporting pneumatic actuators, control valves, and automated assembly processes across various sectors.

Whether you need steady air for continuous production or flexible power for on-site work, this compressor meets the demands of most industrial environments while keeping energy costs low.

how to use it

1. Pre-Start Check (Before Each Startup)

Power Supply Verification Confirm the power supply matches the compressor's rated voltage (typically 380V/3Ph/50Hz, or customized as per your order). Check the main switch, circuit breaker, and power cable for damage or loose connections. Ensure the grounding wire is securely connected to prevent electrical hazards.

Lubrication System Check Check the oil level in the sight glass; it must fall between the "MIN" and "MAX" marks. Inspect the oil quality for discoloration, debris, or abnormal odors. If the oil level is low, add the recommended synthetic screw compressor oil to the specified level.

Air System Inspection Ensure the air outlet valve is closed, and all drain valves (for the air tank, filters, and dryer) are closed. Inspect the air piping, hoses, and fittings for leaks, cracks, or loose connections. Check that the pressure relief valve and safety valve are free from obstructions.

Environmental and Condition Check Verify the compressor room is clean, dry, and well-ventilated, with no flammable or corrosive materials nearby. Check the cooling fan, air intake filter, and radiator for dust buildup that may block airflow. Ensure there are no abnormal noises or obstructions around the unit.

2. Startup & Operation

Initial Startup Procedure

Turn on the main power switch to supply power to the compressor.

The control panel will initialize, displaying system parameters and self-checking for faults. Wait for the self-check to complete without any error codes.

Press the "Start" button on the control panel. The compressor will start in the unloaded state (no air pressure) for a short period to warm up the system.

Normal Operation

Once the warm-up is complete, the compressor will automatically load and begin building pressure. The variable frequency drive will adjust the motor speed continuously to match your air demand, maintaining stable system pressure.

Monitor the control panel in real time:

Keep an eye on the system pressure, oil temperature, and motor current.

Check for abnormal noise, vibration, or leaks.

Ensure the discharge air temperature stays within the safe operating range (typically ≤ 100°C).

Avoid opening the air outlet valve too quickly, as sudden pressure drops can cause the system to shut down. For new installations, gradually increase air usage to let the system adapt.

Operation Notes

Do not operate the compressor continuously above its rated pressure, as this will increase energy consumption and shorten component life.

Avoid frequent start-stop cycles (more than 5 times per hour), as this can damage the motor and variable frequency drive.

If the unit triggers an alarm (high temperature, low oil pressure, overcurrent), press the emergency stop button and contact a technician immediately.

3. Shutdown Procedure

Normal Shutdown

Gradually reduce air usage to allow the system pressure to stabilize.

Press the "Stop" button on the control panel. The compressor will first unload (vent pressure) and then shut down the motor automatically.

Do not turn off the main power switch immediately; wait for the cooling fan to run for 3–5 minutes to cool down the system.

Post-Shutdown Maintenance

After the unit has fully stopped, turn off the main power switch for safety.

Open the drain valves on the air receiver tank, precision filters, and dryer to release all condensate. This prevents water buildup and corrosion.

Wipe down the exterior of the compressor and clean the air intake filter if it is dirty.

Emergency Shutdown In case of emergencies (fire, severe leaks, abnormal noise, or overheating), press the red emergency stop button immediately. Then disconnect the main power and contact professional maintenance personnel.
